Craft Demonstration-Cum-Awareness Programme was conducted with great enthusiasm and success at Malik Marrige Hall Lakhpedabagh Barabanki, from On 21/02/2025 to 23/02/2025. Organized with the due approval of the Central Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Lucknow, the event aimed to promote and create awareness about traditional crafts.
The programme was inaugurated by Mrs. Rubi Jamsed, Assistant Director, District Industries Centre, Barabanki, marking a distinguished opening to the Three-days initiative.
The primary objective of the program was to showcase the live activities involved in the intricate process of Chikankari handicraft. This traditional craft, with its myriad steps, encompasses everything from fabric selection and stitching to printing, embroidering, washing, highlighting, and finishing.
